According to the Association des courtiers et agents immobiliers
du Québec By-law, the chartered real estate broker
can employ or authorize to act on his behalf a person holding
an affiliated real estate broker's certificate or a chartered
or affiliated real estate agent's certificate.
The broker who manages a real estate firm is faced with many
challenges in his daily operations.
Among his main responsibilities, he must manage human resources
and finances, meet his agents' needs, plan the activities of his
office, communicate any relevant information to his agents and
much more.
The broker is also responsible for every single real estate transaction;
he's the one who collects compensation and pays it to the agent
involved in the transaction. Ultimately, the broker is responsible
for the professional acts performed by those who represent him.
