2010-05-20
Brossard, May 20, 2010 – It’s not every day that an educational institution expands by opening a new campus.
It is therefore with great pleasure and pride that Ms. Francine LaHaye, President of the Board of Directors of the Collège, and Ms. Francine Forget, Director General of the Collège, inaugurated on May 19 the South Shore Campus of the Collège de l’immobilier du Québec. This campus is located at 2501 boulevard Lapinière in Brossard, close to the main highways.
This major event brought together key leaders in residential real estate brokerage, commercial real estate brokerage and mortgage brokerage from across Québec, as well as Federal MP for Brossard-La Prairie, Ms. Alexandra Mendès, and Municipal Councillor for the City of Brossard, Ms. Monique Gagné.
“With its distance education and virtual classes, the Collège de l’immobilier reaches people throughout Québec and we felt it was important to move physically closer to our clientele,” said Ms. Francine Forget, Director General of the Collège. “We decided to open the South Shore Campus in order to increase the service we provide to those people in Montérégie, Estrie and other neighbouring areas,” she added.
Ms. Francine LaHaye, President of the Board of Directors of the Collège, and Ms. Francine Forget, Director General of the Collège, inaugurated the South Shore Campus of the Collège de l’immobilier du Québec.
The South Shore Campus is the Collège’s third campus, after the Île-des-Sœurs Campus (1993) and the Laval Campus (opened in 2007 and expanded in 2008).
Many courses relating to the new “Residential Real Estate Broker”, “Commercial Real Estate Broker” and “Mortgage Broker” programs have already been scheduled for June at the South Shore Campus. To know the dates of these programs, visit the Collège website at:
