Going back to school often requires not only an investment in time but also in money. The Collège de l'immobilier du Québec is well aware of this situation and provides students with several options to help finance their studies.
THE FONDATION SCHOLARSHIP
The Scholarship Program of the Fondation du Collège de l'immobilier du Québec helps reduce tuition fees for eligible, full-time Collège students enrolled in one of these programs: Residential Real Estate Broker, Mortgage Broker or Commercial Real Estate Broker.
The scholarships have a maximum value of $750, until available funding is exhausted.

GOVERNMENTAL FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE - Credited programs only (1)
Students who meet selection criteria can receive financial assistance in the form of a loan from the Ministère de l’Éducation, du Loisir et des Sports (MELS).

LIFELONG LEARNING PLAN (LLP) - Credited programs only (1)
Do you have a RRSP? Did you know that you can lend yourself funds under certain conditions through the means of the Lifelong Learning Plan (LLP)? Students must be enrolled full-time in an admissible program (see: www.cra-arc.gc.ca).

(1) IMPORTANT
Credited programs are those that lead to an Attestation of College Studies (AEC). Depending on the number of students, the Collège de l'immobilier may offer the following AECs: Real Estate Broker (AEC.EEC.22)- 450 hours, Commercial Broker (AEC.EEC.2F)- 525 hours, and Mortgage Broker (AEC EEC.2G)-405 hours. The courses for these programs are also available via distance education (by correspondence) and virtual classroom.
The Collège does not guarantee that it will offer all of the credited programs (AEC); programs will be offered if there is a sufficient number of students.
