Students enrolled in our mortgage brokerage training become specialists in mortgage brokerage operations. They work with a clientele who wish to obtain mortgage financing in order to purchase or refinance a property. They interact with business owners and individuals.

MORTGAGE BROKER PROGRAM
The Mortgage Broker Program consists of 270 hours of courses and leads to an Attestation of Collegial Studies (ACS). Students can complete the Mortgage Broker Program either on campus or online (virtual class). Many courses are also offered through distance learning, in French only.
The Program provides students with:

The basic training needed to successfully complete the examination given by the Organisme d’autoréglementation du courtage immobilier du Québec (OACIQ);

Skills that will become a competitive advantage for their career in mortgage brokerage.
The 6 courses that make up the Mortgage Broker program are:
- Real Estate Brokerage Act (30 hours)

Management of a Mortgage Brokerage Process (75 heures) *

PERSONALIZED TRAINING PLAN
The Collège de l’immobilier du Québec adapts its Mortgage Broker training according to students’ backgrounds. Some students may already have several years of professional experience under their belt. Others may have a diploma or credit courses.
Mortgage broker training is customizable for students who have already acquired pertinent skills. These skills must be recognized according to the policy established by the Collège.
The OACIQ’s exam takes into account language quality and the use of mathematics.
All students must take a placement test. Supplementary training is provided based on the results of this test.
