TRAINING
The Collège de l’immobilier du Québec has developed an exclusive curriculum. Our (residential) Real Estate Broker training helps students master all of the skills and qualities they need for a successful career in real estate brokerage.
Students in the Real Estate Broker Program become specialists in real estate operations relating to residential properties. They interact with individuals.
Our comprehensive credited programs enable students to become knowledgeable professionals capable of:

Completing all of work steps implicated in real estate brokerage activities;

Acting ethically and providing advice according to generally accepted practices;

REAL ESTATE BROKER PROGRAM
The Real Estate Broker Program consists of 450 hours of courses and leads to an Attestation of Collegial Studies (ACS). Students can complete the Real Estate Broker Program on campus, through distance learning (in French only) or through virtual classes, in either English or French.
The Program provides students with:

The basic training needed to successfully complete the examination given by the Organisme d’autoréglementation du courtage immobilier du Québec (OACIQ);

The skills that will become a competitive advantage for their career.
The Real Estate Broker Program (EEC.22) consists of the following 8 courses:
- 221-CR1-IQ Career Analysis and Business Management (45 hours)
- 221-CR2-IQ Real Estate Law I (60 hours)
- 221-CR3 - IQ Real Estate Law II (60 hours)
- 221-CR4-IQ Real Estate Appraisal I (45 hours)
- 221-CR5-IQ Real Estate Appraisal II (45 hours)
- 201-CR1-IQ Real Estate Mathematics (75 hours)
- 221-CR6-IQ Real Estate Brokerage Act (45 hours)
- 221-CR7-IQ Drafting of Contracts and Documents (75 hours)

The Collège de l’immobilier du Québec provides training that is adapted to students’ different situations and needs. Students can complete the Real Estate Broker Program according to their preference, their availability and their preferred learning style.
Real estate broker training is completely flexible in its organization.
REAL ESTATE BROKER TRAINING = 8 FORMATS TO MEET YOUR NEEDS
Personalized Training Plan
The Collège de l’immobilier du Québec adapts its Real Estate Broker training according to students’ backgrounds. Some students may already have several years of professional experience under their belt. Others may have a diploma or credit courses.
Real estate broker training is customizable for students who have already acquired pertinent skills. These skills must be recognized according to the policy established by the Collège.
The OACIQ’s exam takes into account language quality and the use of mathematics.
All students must take a placement test. Supplementary training is provided based on results of this test.
