The real estate profession draws many university graduates, especially from real estate related fields such as engineering, architecture and law.
Among the students at the Collège de l’immobilier du Québec:
- 38% are university graduates;
- 21% are college graduates;
- 29% are high school graduates.
In 2008:
- 35% were between 35 and 44 years old;
- 25% were 25 to 35 years old;
- 21% were 45 to 54 years old;
- The others? They were younger than 25 or older than 55 years old!
WHY CHOOSE A CAREER IN REAL ESTATE?
- Almost half of our students indicated a strong interest in this field;
- The other half were looking for more independence;
- Or increased income.
Three quarters (76%) were referred to the Collège by people related to the Real Estate Industry.
They chose the Collège mainly because of its reputation (35%) and the quality of its courses (15%).
