PREPARING WELL FOR THE OACIQ EXAM – A PRIORITY AT THE COLLÈGE DE L’IMMOBILIER DU QUÉBEC

In an effort to constantly improve the services offered to its students, the Collège de l’immobilier du Québec is presenting two new features in preparation for the OACIQ exam. First, the Collège de l’immobilier du Québec is adding the OACIQ Competencies Validation Activities to its real estate residential program. From now on, students who successfully complete their residential brokerage program will be able to participate in OACIQ skills validation activities. The OACIQ skills validation activities are part of the training program, and are offered for a fixed period, to each student, following the successful completion of their program.

An essential exercise to prepare future brokers for the OACIQ exam

For students, this new activity has many advantages:

  • A dynamic and interactive way to review program content for the OACIQ certification exam;
  • Real-time correction of answers, to facilitate learning;
  • Two versions offered, for a complete review of skills;
  • Exercises to do online, for more flexibility;
  • Technical support available at any time during each activity;
  • All the expertise of the College and its teachers, for the benefit of future brokers!

While the success rates of graduates from the Collège de l'immobilier du Québec already stand out across the province, this new validation activity allows all graduates to consolidate the competencies acquired and prepare for the certification exam. The activity is based on the OACIQ residential real estate brokerage competency frameworks.

A new Exam Preparation Workshop has also been introduced

In addition to the OACIQ skills validation activities, the Collège de l’immobilier du Québec is proud to offer the new OACIQ Exam Preparation Workshop. This workshop is available to students who have successfully completed their residential real estate brokerage program. This workshop gives students the opportunity to complete scenarios reflecting real estate transactions, followed by an interactive review session with a teacher. This formula therefore allows students to confirm the competencies acquired, and potentially identify the competencies to be reviewed before their OACIQ certification exam.

These activities and workshops are offered exclusively to students of the Collège de l’immobilier du Québec, the leader in real estate training in Quebec for nearly 30 years.
