The Collège de l’immobilier du Québec is Still Number 1 for Training Real Estate Brokers in Quebec!

Nuns’ Island, September 30, 2021 – The Collège de l’immobilier du Québec is still the leader in real estate brokerage training in Quebec, according to the annual statistics of the Organisme d’autoréglementation du courtage immobilier du Québec (OACIQ).

In 2020, nearly one in two students (42.9%) who successfully completed the OACIQ Certification Exam in Residential Real Estate Brokerage was from the Collège de l’immobilier du Québec. These numbers shows that the Collège is Quebec’s leader in real estate brokerage training, as the remainder of student enrollment is distributed among nearly 20 other educational institutions province wide. Whats more, 83% of our students successfully completed the Certification Exam on their first attempt. This success rate is above the provincial average for 2020.

During the same year, the Collège’s residential real estate brokerage training program sent more than 600 students to the OACIQ Residential Certification Exam, an increase of 104 students compared to the year before. This increase is directly linked to the housing market fever that has been felt since the beginning of the pandemic. In 2020, the Collège recorded a 55% increase in admissions to its Residential Program compared to 2019.

Sonia Béliveau, General Manager of the Collège de l’immobilier du Québec, is proud of the remarkable performance of the Collège and its students: “2020 has been a year of challenges. We were able to quickly expand our offer in virtual training when our campuses had to close due to the pandemic. The team worked hard, and our technology was ready for a larger volume of students. I am very proud to see that the Collège stands out once again in the OACIQ results. Congratulations to all the new graduates, and good luck with your new career as Real Estate Brokers! "
