Commercial Real Estate Program: Launch of Skills Review Workshops and Activities Prior to the OACIQ Exam

To consolidate their skills and maximize their success, students who have successfully completed their commercial real estate brokerage training now have access to skills review activities and OACIQ exam preparation workshops.

Students in the commercial real estate brokerage program or in the commercial specialization program can now review the content of their program and validate the skills they have acquired using two dynamic methods before registering for the commercial broker certification exam of the Organisme d'autoréglementation du courtage immobilier du Québec (OACIQ).

Skills Review Activity

  • Based on the OACIQ's commercial real estate brokerage competency framework, this activity is offered to every student who successfully completes the program, for a set period of time.

OACIQ Exam Preparation Workshop

  • With scenarios reflecting real estate transactions, followed by an interactive review session with a teacher, this workshop is an opportunity to confirm acquired skills and identify those that need revision before the OACIQ certification exam. It is offered to students who have successfully completed their commercial real estate brokerage program.

The activity and workshop are offered exclusively to students of the Collège de l'immobilier du Québec.

Already a Success in the Residential Real Estate Program

The skills review activity and exam preparation workshop have been offered by the Collège to residential real estate brokerage students for several months now and are already proving a success in preparing future brokers for the OACIQ exam. Students appreciate these new methods for the comprehensive, interactive review of their knowledge.

The Collège de l’immobilier du Québec, Masters of Real Estate Brokerage Training

The Collège is constantly innovating to provide the best learning conditions for its students, as this new feature demonstrates. All our residential and commercial real estate brokerage programs are recognized by the OACIQ. In 2022, 82% of our students passed the commercial real estate brokerage certification exam on their first attempt, making us one of the top-performing educational institutions in Quebec.
